I love, love, this movie
It also has one of the best scores I think
I remember when I was younger trying (and failing), to do my own impression of E.T

I loved it as a kid. I don't know if I could watch it now. It's one of those iconic movies, though and there's no denying that.
Have you seen Mac and Me? Holy crap. It was clearly supposed to be someone's answer to E.T. but it was like E.T. from Wish. They watched it on MST3K, and one guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien kept trolling him with Mac and Me clips. I say "clips" but it was the same clip over and over. He'd set up a clip for a film but then show Mac and Me.

I grew up with ET. I still enjoy it. I dont like what they did when they had that re release where they replaced guns with walkie talkies. Leave the classics alone. It was fine the way it was.
That Mac n me looks aweful. Make sure I dont see it. Lol.

I wasn't ever big into Willy Wonka but I know my wife definitely prefers the classic over the Johnny Depp one.
