Where is everyone in the universe? There are so many countless stars just in our galaxy and as many galaxies in the observable universe. Even if only a tiny percentage of those had planets favorable for life and only a tiny percentage of those actually saw life develop, there still should be at least some advanced civilizations, especially considering the age of the universe and our planet is relatively young. It sure seems quiet out there.

We've already been visited by aliens. People have reported seeing them for decades and there's photos and videos of their craft. There's even historic evidence that they've been visiting for thousands of years.

This is a troubling question because it seems like either we are alone in the universe despite its massive size or we're deliberately avoided. I know people believe we've already been visited but the evidence for that is flimsy at best. Realistically, if there were other advanced civilizations out there, it seems like we should have more evidence to it than some fuzzy photos of alleged ships and some stories of abductions. We should probably be detecting signals from space, of some kind. I can't imagine aliens coming all the way here and then just studying our butts and cattle.

Mathematically the universe is far too vast for us to be the only ones. Spores from elsewhere is how Earth was seeded in the first place. Fossilized bacteria found on asteroids proves that life does indeed exist elsewhere.

I thought the fossil microbes weren't definitively confirmed to definitively be fossilized microbes.

It would seem lonely if nobody else was out there but maybe its better that way so they dont come here and take over earth.

I'm sure they would take better care of the place though.

Didn't the government acknowledge the existence of UFOs and shared videos of them?

Didn't the government acknowledge the existence of UFOs and shared videos of them? UFOs aren't necessarily alien ships. They're just unidentified flying objects. Clouds or birds can be UFOs if we don't know for sure what we're looking at. I don't think the government ever said they're alien vessel's but just that there's something.

I do seriously wonder what they are though.

I wonder the exact same thing, but I suspect I'll never have answers.

I don't necessarily believe they're aliens, but not for the same reasons. I entertain the notion that there's life elsewhere. I'm just not convinced they've come all the way here to not do anything. I do find it odd that we haven't picked up alien signals of some kind, though, but as old as the universe is there's a possibility that there have been advanced civilizations in the past that are now gone.
