I must of missed the context for all this. I take it he didn't seem big on religion? I touched on it in a previous reply but you're new here and haven't been a part of older topics so you haven't got a feel for me yet. There was a science topic with dozens of comments. There was a ghost topic wherein I take an objective, scientific stance on it. Stuff like that. It may give the wrong impression. People probably can't tell but there was a time I was heavily involved in the church. I went to five services a week between three different churches, not counting occasional visits to others. I was directly involved in a lot of church activities. That's in the past but I still have friends from church. As I said before, I don't hate religion, per se. I like Jesus. The Bible has a lot of good messages in it. Faith can give people comfort and strength, and motivation to become a better person. Those are good things and I support good things. A problem I run into is some people trying to use religion as an excuse to be horrible or do horrible things, like hating on particular demographics. That's not good. I'm all for a person having faith but I'm not all for trying to push it on others. I'm not all for saying I'm right and you're wrong because my beliefs say so. That's not good.
