Today I learned that a friend from about 23 years ago is being investigated for stuff with his daughter. I don't want to get into more detail on this board so hopefully people can read between the lines. I'm not going to treat him as guilty because people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty but if it's true I'm disgusted. I don't know what more to say right now. Just needed to vent that.

It's funny how so many prancing around on their moral high horses end up falling off. The church and Republicans like to look down on everyone else for being sinful heathens when they're doing all the same crap every bit as much, if not more. It's a shame this topic had to immediately be derailed for a political agenda.

I haven't really heard from him in some years now. It's not as if we're close. We hung out a bit years ago but not more recently. Still, he was someone I was acquainted with and I can't stand the thought that someone I hung out with, who seemed like a nice guy, could do something like this. It's too close to home.

We haven't directly spoken but we're still friends on Facebook. He never stopped posting pro Trump stuff or anti Obama and now anti Biden. He's definitely still a hardcore Republican. |

Update: Now they're saying it may have been made up. The daughter wrote a letter apologizing. She said she made it up because she was mad at him. I don't know if this makes it better or not. If true it means he didn't do it and was innocent. But it means he is now the victim of false accusation.
