I'm pretty sure I addressed that already, at least sort of.

High velocity doesn't make you feel like your face is melting off. It's change in velocity that you feel. On the rides shown, your velocity is rapidly changing. Remember, velocity isn't simply speed. Velocity is speed and direction. Even if your speed remains constant, if the direction rapidly changes you dramatically feel that.

Imagine you're a passenger in a car. We can speed down a highway at 120 MPH. As long as we're remaining at a constant speed and are traveling in a straight line, you won't really feel anything. However, if we're rapidly accelerating or decelerating, or weaving through twisty turns, you'll definitely feel that. Earth isn't rapidly changing your direction. It's so subtle that it takes twenty-four hours to spin you one single time.


These are passengers on the Concorde, a luxurious airliner zipping these people around at 1,354 MPH.  They aren't melting against their seats.  They're perfectly comfortable feeling nothing at speeds faster than Earth's rotation.
