I'm so excited for Godzilla Minus One. It looks like it's going to be great. It's also impressive how much they can do with just $15,000,000.

Yes, it's from Toho, who produced all the previous Japanese Gojira films.

That's Godzilla's actual name. It was translated poorly here.

It looks a lot better than the old rubber suit flicks decades ago.

It looks a lot better than the old rubber suit flicks decades ago. They've definitely came a long way, but it's also impressive considering that it had a $15,000,000 budget. That's like a budget for a commercial in the US.

There's a new trailer. For the most part it has snippets we've seen in previous trailers. At the end there's an interesting bit. {Spoiler}When he charges up for his breath attack, watch his spines.

still not intersted but i admit that looks good for japan. It is, but it's more impressive when you factor in that it's built on a budget of just $15 million. For comparison, the 2014 American Godzilla film had a budget of $160 million; over ten times more, and that doesn't account for inflation. Factoring in inflation, the 2014 film would be $208 million in 2023.

Yes, really looking forward to seeing this too (provided I can find a cinema in the UK that's showing it! ).

The new TV series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which is an extension of the US Godzilla films, looks like it might be good too. Unfortunately I don't have Apple TV so can't say for certain. Anyone here seen it yet?
