As of this time guests can post in it. If we have to, we will remove guest access to the shout box. Please don't make us have to do that.

Alright, I couldn't at this time figure out a way of making the shout box optional such that individual users could turn it on or off, so I am turning it back off. Maybe some day I will find out a way for members to have individual control over the shout box but for now I am at a loss. My apologies.

It's back on, but now there should be a button allowing each individual to personally hide or display the shout box. You should see a button reading "Hide Shoudbox" if you have it displayed, or "Show Shoutbox" if you have it hidden. Let me know if we need to work on this further.
