Final Fantasy is a huge ip but 16 only sold 4 million. Balders Gate 3 sold 22 million. It seems the answer is clear. Players want turn based rpgs. Not every thing needs to be action rpgs.

I think there's a typo in your title. I presume it was supposed to be "BG3."
People tend to make connections where there are none. I don't know if these sales figures are accurate, though they wouldn't surprise me. Baldur's Gate 3 seems popular and awesome and I want it on Xbox, as I've previously acknowledged. I don't know that the differences in sales are as simple as turn-based versus live action combat. I'm pretty sure there's a lot more going on here.

I really can't see turn based being that important to players. That can't be the only reason or even the main one.
