Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is a beloved SNES icon. It remains a beloved treasure that can't be avoided in discussions of Super Nintendo. Today, collectors desperately want Mario RPG in their collection.
It has been remade/remastered for Nintendo Switch and is out today.

I was a little kid when Super Nintendo was out. My first console was a used Atari Jaguar, which was already old by the time I got it, and nobody had one. It was awful. I think I would have favored a Super Nintendo since at least there were loads of good games for it. I bet Mario RPG was great.

You had Jaguar? God, I'm sorry. Did you have both Jaguar games?

Lol. Jaguar had maybe fifty or sixty games but that's nothing compared to other consoles and they were all trash. I probably had a dozen but they were like having nothing.

I don't know if the Jaguar console itself was so bad so much as it just had nothing for it. It had a laughably small library, though not as bad as Virtual Boy, and nothing special available for it.

I got this for Christmas and am playing it now. It's as enjoyable as I remember. I just wish the A button on my controller wasn't occasionally sticking. It's annoying and distracting when timing presses of the A button are critical in battle.
