Please feel free to stop by my forum, The Sheridan Club, where we discuss all aspects of good manners, civility, etiquette and general politeness which we feel is missing in modern society (and could be well reintroduced, especially in what we consider to be a "revolutionary" fashion 
) alongside more general chat. Chaps and ladies like me ascribe to what is generally termed the "vintage lifestyle", although the degree to which we embrace it varies considerably. We tend to agree however that, for all the advancements there have been in equality, technology and general quality of life the feeling is that in many respects the baby has been thrown out with the bathwater and we have lost just as much as we've gained in certain social and cultural aspects of life. Pleasantness and civility are being discarded as the worthless ephemera of a bygone age, to the point that it is now considered revolutionary to be a polite and well-dressed gentleman or lady. And we would be polite to anyone who cared to stop by the forum, I can assure you!
