what is the most annoying thing people do in public?
i hate it when people drive half the speed limit or when they sit through a green light.

I can't stand those either. I also can't stand people parking like idiots, like on the line or taking up two parking spots.

Watching something on their phone with the volume up so everyone else has to hear whatever nonsense they're watching.

I hate people using the restroom without washing their hands and then touching the door handle and other things. It's disgusting. I won't touch restroom doors with my bare hands because I know they've been touched with fecal matter.

This afternoon I was trying to get home and it took twice as long as it should have because I got stuck behind someone driving half the speed limit. I couldn't pass because of oncoming traffic and no-passing zones.

Talk loudly on their phones Or play loud music through said phone That reminds me of one. How about the punk kid with the huge stereo in his car that he cranks up so you hear it three blocks away? The only consolation is knowing he will be deaf by the age of thirty. |

Both happened to me this afternoon, and it was the same person. I was trying to take my daughter to a recital and got behind this person doing 20 in a 35 zone. Then they stop at a red light and continue to stay parked there after the light turned green. I went around them, and only when they saw me driving by did they start moving. It was illegal and I don't recommend that. Okay, I start pulling away from them, leaving them shrinking in my mirrors. Then I come up on a minivan moving at a crawl while they wave at someone driving the other direction. They started moving but weren't in a hurry, evidently absent-minded as they reminisced over the passing encounter with an acquaintance. 🤦♂️ |

The only consolation is knowing he will be deaf by the age of thirty. What annoys me about that is, more often than not, the song they choose to blair from the speakers is one with maximum base. Those songs where, even if you had it on low it would deafen you |

This doesn't exactly fit the topic but since it's about people being annoying in public. My neighbors, not all but just one house, they're just the worst. They don't care how much noise they make or what time it is. It could be 3:00 in the morning. They don't care, and they don't care who hears it. Literally any kind of noise can come from there at any time. Nothing would be surprising. Music, power tools, a loud car motor, yelling, a chorus of dogs barking, you name it. Their house is like a mix tape of random noises. A train horn or jet taking off wouldn't be surprising.
