the yearly UK horse racing event
does anyone really enjoy this?
love this on a saturday afternoon, sometimes even place a little bet on one of the horses

Honestly, I don't know that anyone here would really be familiar. We don't have but a handful of registered users and I think they're from the US so far.
I'm accused of being a closet European because I like un-American racing (road courses instead of ovals,) especially Formula One, and since 2008 my favorite current F1 driver is a Brit. I was a huge fan of Top Gear (UK) but not American Top Gear..., up until the show was ruined by losing Clarkson, May, and Hammond. I favor some British pronunciations over ours, like Nissan.

I was sad when they were announcing it was over, but it was only over in the format with them with an audience in the tent. After that it was their adventures around the world, which were honestly my favorite episodes. I like the cars and all but their trips through the jungle, through Vietnam, almost getting murdered by a mob of rednecks in Alabama, et cetera were my favorites. I'm eagerly awaiting new episodes of Grand Tour.
