I just saw a white squirrel while taking my son to school. I wish I got a picture but I think it was only in view for about ten seconds and I didn't process what I saw at first. Based on the size, which looked to me to be bigger than other squirrels I see, and the white coloration, at first I assumed it was a cat. It took a few moments to realize the bushy tail was like half the animal.
I don't know that there's much room to discuss a squirrel but I just thought it was neat. I've seen a million squirrels and every one was brown until now.

This isn't my picture or the same squirrel but I found this on Google and it's just like the one I saw.

Shame you didnt get a photo. Like you I seen countless squirrels but never a white one. Think maybe saw a black squirrel a time or two but not a white one.

Maybe it was the ghost of a squirrel. Squirrels have spirits, right?
I remember you're not a fan of ghosts and why don't animals have ghosts.

Good question. I thought squirrels were everywhere.

Good question. I thought squirrels were everywhere. I assumed the same but I Googled it and evidently they're not. Obviously Antarctica doesn't have any, but it looks like Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii don't have squirrels. There might be more but that's what I found so far.

I think anywhere far from the big continents are likely devoid of squirrels.

They're not squirrels but close-ish. That's the Rescue Rangers in their flying machine. I was imagining them flying to Hawaii/New Zealand/Australia/wherever.
