I wanted a clip of my son's robot spider while it still works. (It's hard to say when it'll get left somewhere to get stepped on or sat on or God knows what.)

Did he build it? It looks like something you build with a kit. It is. There's a housing with a motor that you wire to a battery. The motor connects to a series of gears thar connect to the eight legs that each have a series of moving parts that work in sync to walk it.
