Well, the Christmas decorations are down. I hate that time, when the decorations come down. It's sad to me. They're fun and festive and taking them down is the opposite of that. Winter is such a sad, cold, dark, gloomy time of year and the decorations added a splash of color and light and now that's gone.

Couldn't you just leave them up? Eventually I'd be the only person with Christmas decorations up and it would start looking bad. People would assume I'm too lazy to take them down and they'd get tired of seeing them. Seeing them for a very long time would also detract from their specialty when it's time to go back up.

Some people leave them up but just dont turn them on. That would've been fine for my outside decorations but the Christmas tree was taking up too much space.
