The topic about In The Heart of the Sea got me thinking about Rush. It's from the same director and also stars Chris Hemsworth. It's also a true story,

the movie says the fire was over 800. shouldnt fire be hotter then that? It's Celsius. In Fahrenheit that would be over 1,472°.

That takes me back. I didnt watch F1 so I dont know the drivers or what happened. I just remember the 70s. How did he not die in that fire? Thats miraculous.

The hospital thought for sure he was going to die. He was so strong-willed, so stubborn, and so driven by his desire to defeat James Hunt in the championship, that he fought like heck to not only live but to expedite his recovery. If you get to watch the film, it covers some of his recovery battle, and they're vacuuming the charred lung tissue from inside his lungs, which was a painful process. When they figured they've done enough for the day, that he needed time to recover from the procedure, Niki Lauda insisted on them going again.

More Hemsworth? Yes please. I guess he was the right man for the role then. In real life, James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) was reportedly with over a thousand women.
