We love Lord of the Rings but it's almost impossible for us to watch them because they take so long. It's like committing to watching them means wiping out a whole day. When the Mario movie came out a while ago some people criticized the length for being too short, but I pointed out that once upon a time it would have been a normal length, that movies weren't always three hours long.
