That's odd. I wonder what could effect galaxies on such a huge scale.

"Huge" doesn't even begin to cover it. It's hard to really appreciate even the size of our solar system, which is a grain of sand on the scale of our galaxy, and we're talking structures consisting of multiple galaxies. I can't imagine what could manipulate multiple galaxies like this.

It says their distance from us is roughly the same. The center of the arch looks like it would be roughly near the ring. I can't help but suspect they're related.
