I had an Atari 2600, but at that time I wasn't really fascinated with video games. I just fiddled with it. It wasn't until Super Mario Bros. and NES that I was infatuated with gaming. I mean, if I wasn't playing games, talking about games, or reading Nintendo Power magazine about games, I was drawing my own game levels and game ideas. So, technically my first was Atari 2600 but my start as a gamer was Nintendo Entertainment System.

Its kind of complicated I guess. I mean there was systems I got to play but I didn't own them. I played friends and cousins systems before I had one that was mine mine. I had a 64 because up till then every thing was Nintendo and Sega. I had to get a Playstation tho because there were to many games not on 64.
