I don't care for handball but I've seen a lot of talk about it, including the anthem. I wasn't familiar with the song and wasn't aware it was viewed as a "black national anthem." I'm not upset but don't approve of the idea. I'm sure there's people that see this as inclusive but to me, and I'm sure many others, it's the opposite. There's one United States of America and should be one anthem for everyone, not different anthems for different demographics. The usual anthem isn't the White People Anthem and we don't need a black anthem, Hispanic anthem, Asian anthem, Republican anthem, LGBTQ anthem, paraplegic anthem, Buddhist anthem, et cetera. The one anthem is everyone's anthem.
