Halloween is coming up so now is scary movie season. What are we watching? I actually don't like like Scream that much. I like old B rate horror movies like you used to see filling the horror section of video rental stores.

final destination 3 with the roller coaster
I actually own all the final destination movies on dvd
when a stranger calls was always a good classic, and panic button also
I remember enjoying one called curse of the crimzon altar, but don't remember what it's about now lol

I like the Final Destination films. The opening we're-all-gonna-die scene I liked most was the one at the race track, admittedly because I'm a race fan. The scene demonstrates, albeit exaggeratedly, that even with all the safety improvements racing still a dangerous sport, even to spectators. The 1955 Le Mans tragedy specifically comes to mind. I won't link to the video but it's not hard to find.

Has anyone ever watched Event Horizon? People seem to love it or hate it. I thought it was cool. It was a good idea and had loads of neat imagery. I read their was much more dark gory content that got cut.

I read their was much more dark gory content that got cut. I really liked it and never got people crapping on it. It's the same for 13 Ghosts, kind of. On Facebook I kept seeing articles about bad movies and including 13 Ghosts but replies often supported 13 Ghosts, and I really enjoyed it. I thought both were interesting concepts. |
