I wasn't sure where to put this. Pokémon started as a game and is still a major game series but it expanded into everything. It became a show, movies, huge toy line, plushes, clothing, books, a card game, and pretty much everything. What's our favorite Pokémon and why? I probably have to go with Bulbasaur. The main reason, besides being iconic, is sentimental. He was my first Pokémon. For that reason, he'll always have a special place in my heart.  |

i never got poke mans. what kind of name is that even? When they first came out, it was a game for Game Boy, which was small, durable, and easily portable, often in pockets. Kids could trade and battle their collectible monsters with friends and carry them with them everywhere in their Game Boys in their pockets. Hence the game and the critters were originally called "Pocket Monsters." Japan loves cutesy things so they cutesified "Pocket Monsters" into "Pokémon." By the time it was released worldwide, it came to us as Pokémon instead of Pocket Monsters. |

Mewtwo He was the special Pokemon in the original and he was the strongest. Even today after all 9000 Pokemon he is still pretty strong. my church said poke mans was of the devil. Alot of churches did that. They used flimsy excuses like staryou is a pentagram. Staryou is a starfish. Didn't god make starfish? They didn't like Pokemon evolution but Pokemon evolution wasn't Darwin evolution. It was more like a tadpole becoming a frog or a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. In fact exactly those things were in the game. There was a tadpole Pokemon and caterpillar Pokemon that becomes a butterfly. Maybe they should called it some thing other then evolution. |

I agree I love the pokemon Bulbasaur he is so cute ro me and he is one of my top pokemon in alot of the pokemon games.
