Saw an article suggestion about it. It compared it to Horizon.

Fora Horizon is a logical comparison. Forza is the benchmark for console racing anyway, but Motorfest unapologetically tried to be Forza Horizon. I jokingly call it "The Crew: Horizon" instead of "The Crew: Motorfest." It's not nearly as refined as Forza, though. While Forza Motorsport launched with a few bugs I've encountered, Motorfest seemed less ready for showtime. I never really got to make ise of the livery editor because of a bug preventing me from using my saved images. It's pretty, though, and there's planes and boats in addition to cars.

That's not unfair.

Having said that, it's not bad. It's just not outstanding, and it lost its identity. The Crew 1 and 2 were one thing and then Motorfest was something totally different. Project CARS 3 was kinda like that. Project CARS 1 and 2 were more hardcore sims, and then 3 was more like it was supposed to be Need for Speed: Shift 3. It wasn't bad but shouldn't have been called "Project CARS." DiRT 5 did the same thing, being pretty much the polar opposite of DiRT 4. In the case of DiRT 5, it actually was awful.
