I assume we mean NFL. Globally, "football" means something very different. I'm not into ball sports at all. As far as I'll go is routine for the local team, and even then I don't say or do anything with it. I don't have apparel or bumper stickers or even talk about it. It's basically a matter of if it comes up then "go team."

I totally get that, but around here people are passionate about it and if I say anything remotely conveying my disinterest I'm liable to be verbally attacked. They get cartoonishly upset over it. They'd be less offended if I insulted Jesus or punched their mom.
