the lord is my strength. my rock. i thought it best for other people to enjoy the same. That is a good thing, belief is all about faith. The problem for me is that 99.9% of Christians have no idea whatsoever how their religion was formed or indeed how the 1st century Christians actually worshiped. Nor have any of them ever read the 4 banned gospels.* (there were originally 8 gospels) before they were banned by the bishops in the 4th and 5th centuries. And of course almost all of the stories in the old testament were borrowed from the Egyptians and Sumerians. It is akin to Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy when one was a child. If you believe then it is all true. I'm cautiously optimistic about having stopped a roof leak, but I won't know for sure until it rains again. Hopefully that'll be one less thing to stress over.

It's a little hard to explain what was going on up there but basically I think the rubberized roofing shifted near a corner and it pulled a hole out from somewhere so I've patched it with Flex Seal Tape and tried tucking it back as best I could.

My son is feverish. He was moping last night before bed and had a temperature of 99.3 so I gave him children's Tylenol. Twelve hours later he wasn't feeling well and his temperature was 101.2. I gave him more Tylenol and had him in front of a fan. Before I left for work he was down to like 99.3, I think. Now he's 102.3. My wife gave him more medicine and I told her to have him in front of the fan again and to monitor his temperature. I want to know where he's at here in 37 minutes. I'm hoping his temperature comes back down. I'm still at work.

He's still running 100. When my wife gets home from work he will probably be going to a doctor.

Im sorry man. Does he have the flu? I don't know what's going on. The fever is the only symptom. He has no cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, or upset stomach. My wife gave him a COVID test but it was negative. I think a week ago my daughter said most of her class was absent because of illness but we don't know what they had. Someone we know that works at the hospital told my wife a lot of kids around here have COVID but so far the test was negative for my son. My wife opted to wait to take him to a regular doctor tomorrow since today we would have to take him to the ER at the hospital and that's not only expensive but usually a very long wait. For our British friends, she would have to take him to hospital. (That's a joke about how here it's "the hospital" or "a hospital.") |

He's still the same and the doctors did nothing. They just said to keep doing what we're doing.
